What is rosehip oil?

Rosehip oil can quickly go bad to increase its shelf life and store it in a cool, dark place away from the sun. You can also keep it in the refrigerator.

Rosehip oil is derived from the rosa canina rose bush that grows mainly in Chile. It is also known as rosehip seed oil. It is not the same as rose oil, which is obtained from rose petals, but it is the oil extracted from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant. Since ancient times, it has been used because it contains phenol that has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties.
